|Summer University for Democracy|
The Schools of Politics' culminating activity is the Summer University for Democracy, which takes place in Strasbourg each year. In 2006, with the aim of raising the programme's profile/visibility and promoting networking among participants of 16 Schools, concluding seminars have been merged into a major joint activity – SUD, organized in partnership with the France-based European Centre for Public Administration. This activity brings together all participants of Schools for Political Studies (around 600) - every year.
The Prishtina School of Politics has been so far represented in this activity by around 200 participants. Participants to six SUD editions have been involved in discussions on: democracy, power, global crisis, ethics and politics, governance, etc. During this week-long event, participants of all schools are given the opportunity to attend lectures presented by prominent European and world political personalities, academics and activists. Participants are allowed to select topics of the workshops in advance, depending on their professional profile.
